Herbert Reynolds Davis, PhD

The mission of Kingdom Harvest Ministries is to impact the Kingdom of God through the harvesting and nurturing of souls. This awesome task entails the sharing of solid biblical insight through the dynamic teaching, preaching and counseling ministries of Herbert Reynolds and Psiyina L. Davis.
Through this anointed ministry souls are saved, lives changed, marriages restored, bodies healed and divine direction is revealed as individuals bring order to their lives. Kingdom Harvest Ministries has been chosen and ordained by God for maximum kingdom impact in this season.
Founders
Herbert Reynolds Davis maintains an active academic, ecclesiastical and advocacy profile engaging: Church Planting, Community Organizing and Advocacy, Christian Theology, Leadership Development and Organizational Consulting. He holds a Bachelor degree in Religion, the Master of Divinity degree, the Doctor of Ministry and the
Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership. He has earned professional certification in Leadership Education.
Dr. Davis served in academia as the Executive Vice President of a Title IV theological institution for more than a decade. He has participated in broad based community organizing for over two decades through Metro IAF (Industrial Areas Foundation), serving on both local and national Strategy Teams. He regularly speaks to civic and faith-based groups effecting positive spiritual and social change. He is often requested to offer trainings for church leaders, nonprofit leadership teams and community organizations. Dr. Davis is the President of HRD Strategic Development LLC which offers training and development for religious organizations, higher education institutions, non-profits, and small businesses. Dr. Davis is the author of three books: The Visitation: Your Defining Moment in the Presence of God; The Christian Leadership Blueprint: Seven Principles for Building Something Great, Transformative, and Lasting; and Graced for This.
Dr. Davis is ordained in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). He has served faithfully on the local, statewide, national, and international levels for more than thirty years. Locally, he serves as the Bishop of the multicultural Nehemiah Church COGIC in Durham, NC. He serves as the Chairman of Ordination within North Carolina Second Jurisdiction. Dr. Davis has used his gifts through service both nationally and internationally with the Annual Leadership Conference, World Missions Department, the Pastors and Elders as well as the Education Commission. He finds greater meaning and inspiration of life from his wife Psiyina and his four adult daughters.

Psiyina [sigh-YE-nuh] is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned the Master of Arts in Christian Counseling as well as the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has a private practice and is a Clinician at The Armstrong Center for Hope. She assists individuals, couples, and families with achieving their mental health goals. She educates communities on the importance of maintaining psychological, physiological, and spiritual health by conducting workshops and seminars on soul-care, mental wellness, premarital/marital relationship health and other topics on mental health.
Lady Psiyina is married to Dr. Herbert R. Davis, and they serve as the leaders of the multicultural Nehemiah Church COGIC, one church with two congregations. Nehemiah Church is comprised of the African American Nehemiah Christian Center and the Latino Nehemias Espiritu de Vida. Lady Psiyina serves in a team leadership role as the Pastor of Congregational Care (providing the congregation with spiritual and psychological support during times of life transitions, grief, and hospitalization).
Lady Psiyina previously served as the Vice President of the Pastors Wives Circle for NC Second Jurisdiction of the Church Of God In Christ. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the El Salvador Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ Women's Department. She is active within the music department of the COGIC World Missions Department. Psiyina serves within the International Department of Women for the Church of God in Christ in the following roles: as one of the executive members of Lydia’s Daughters Prayer Group (ages 33-52), and as the Co-Director of the Mental Health Professional Alliance.
Psiyina is a native of Detroit, Michigan, and currently resides in Durham with her husband. Herbert They are the proud parents of four adult daughters
